IceWind develops human-scale vertical-axis wind turbines built to thrive where nature is at its most extreme. Born in Iceland and shaped by wind, ice, and fire, the company was founded by Sæþór Ásgeirsson and Ásgeir Sverrisson out of necessity — to harness Iceland’s powerful and unpredictable winds in a dependable way.
Inspired by the country’s ever-changing environment, IceWind designs and tests all its turbines in real Nordic conditions, ensuring unmatched endurance against freezing storms, coastal winds, and volcanic dust.
